Topographically, It consists of more than thirty acres of flat land ideal for construction, bordering on three different beaches (no white sand), one with surfing potential and another on a natural protected bay perfect for accesss, moorings,dock or small marina.  The island was used by pirates to attack cargo ships in the colonial times.  The Spanish treasure galleon San Jose sunk June 17, 1631 nearby the island and divers still dive up gold and silver coins, as two thirds of its cargo is still undiscovered.
